    Quigly joins the shotgun crew

Well I finally got a chance to get out this morning. Last night I roosted some birds at the farm where I deer hunt. This morning I got set up and realized that I messed up and set up on them way too close. I knew that I didn't have much of a chance so the first bird that hit the ground was going to get it...I took my 12 ga, I have owned the thing for 15 years and this is the first thing that I have taken with it... At 6:00 am a very nice tom hit the ground at 30 yards and I dropped the hammer on him. I will post some pics and bird info later, I am waiting for the sun for a nice pic...

He weighs 20 lbs, 9 1/2 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs...

Geeze you should watch what you say. She is coming to the get-together and if you're there she just might take you out behind the out house and slap you around a bit. I am not trying to stir up trouble!
Anyway, Congratulations on the bird Quigly.
