Getting ready for turkey bow hunting

I an starting to dig out my things.I have my decoys ready and am
still working out setting up a new bow and not 100% sure on which
broad head I will use this year.I killed two last season with the 85gr
Wasp sst bullet but they like to steer the arrow from the front.I might
build some arrows with 5 inch feathers?????

    Smile broadheads

pete, you might want to try a NAP spitfire. i think they have one specifically designed for turkeys. it's an expandable thats dulled i believe, spitfires fly great for deer and i used a regular one on the only turkey i've ever taken with the bow. nice decoy set! i always wanted to try a gobbler guillotine

Yes I have the 85 Gr Nap spitfires. They fly good.I will probably use
them for turkey.I am only shooting 51-53# on my bow and might be
a little low for deer.I lost a deer last year with one but it was only
because one of the three blades hit a branch and opened before it
hit the deer and it was deflected back from where I was aiming.I
had to regroup in the middle of bow season.
