    A good start

    Took this tom yesterday. In the woods in my back yard. I've harvested game with shotguns, rifles and muzzle loaders over the years. But this is a first for me with the bow..

    9" beard, 1" spurs.

    Congrats. Birds walk through my yard almost daily, mostly hens/poults, I can only look at them for now.
    NOBODY EVER SHOT BAMBI....they shot his momma.

    Nice job. We used to have turkey around but haven't seen em in about 2 years. Maybe the fox and her kits (usually 3-4/yr) have scared them off.

    I get a lot of traffic out back. The deer paths are carved out back there as much as anywhere. In the summer I had day time and night time pics. But since mid august, all nocturnal.
