    I did put in a lot of time, but finally having private land to hunt played a huge part in it I believe. It's also really easy to forget just how much work it really is to drag field dress load hang and butcher by yourself. Usually I would have my brother-in-law with me, but I haven't yet been able to get him a slip signed so he was on the other end of the state.

    What a story congratulations! That buck looks like he has a November neck already it's a tank. Great lesson in patience and persistence in hunting. Nicely done!

    I wish i could say thats how my "1st deer" went down. It was my 1st archery deer. But either way, still wont be one thats soon forgotten. I appreciate all the kind words from all of you. Thanks guys.
