    Thanks guys, definitely was satisfying to both take the shot (finally) and more importantly, successfully recover her unfettered the next morning. Surely off to a good start and I think I am still on them, as I had 3-4 move to cross the road last Saturday evening, but they were in the whips and 70+ yards off, saw legs and bellies. Just hoping with the now 3 stands I have in that general area (all about 200-250 yards apart) I can catch another ninja slinking through before they change up their pattern as the rut slowly begins.



    Back in the woods tomorrow (took the day off) and Saturday, not to mention first scouting weekend for my second year in the MDC Barkhamsted East block Controlled Hunt (A Season). Cameras being placed and one blind going in, with a hanging stand to go in on the second weekend along with a climber.
