I've been scouting in Green Mountain NF for a fall deer trip I'm planning and I'm looking for your help. Not looking for your spots, I've got 3 areas I'm concentrating on but haven't committed to one just yet. Any tips you all have for hunting up there? Crowded areas to avoid, dangerous winter roads, etc.. I'll be camping out so I'm looking at deep backcountry type of areas.
