Very nice. I'll be out 3 more times. Hoping either I drop one more, or the wife drops one.

    Congrats Adam,

I'd say you had a great season if that archery buck on the home page is yours also! About 20 years ago when NW Ct got that early freak 2' snowfall we were hunting Peoples when my buddy shot a full racked 8 pter similar to yours. In his 100 yard death run he dropped both antlers in deep snow and only with dumb luck we found both sides.

Norfolk was really slow this year, we passed on a couple small ones and that was it. I killed a couple bucks with the bow up here in NH but unknowingly had a heart attack the day before Ct rifle opened. I was just getting over the 24 bug and hoped it would pass. I pounded down to Ct for daylight and tried to hunt for a couple days but couldn't walk (with treestand, pack and rifle) more than 20 yards without my lungs burning and dizziness. Few days later I wound up in ICU for 9 days and had a triple bypass. Dr said dragging out those 2 bucks alone should have killed me, my "lungs burning" was heart not getting enough blood! Other than my split sternum I'm feeling great, just hope I can shoot my bow come fall. Spring turkey can't be that far away, congrats again, you earned them!
