    Gorton Pond revisited.

We hit the pond at 6am. Again ,with the water temp. at 80 NO TOP WATER BITE!! maybe some day this year I'll get one. We did get two apiece for the day on crank baits. Seems to be the most productive lure on this pond. Still a nice quiet place to spend the morning.

What top water bait were you using? My best/favorite top water is a rattlin chug bug. Walk the dog with it. Clear water, muddy water doesn't matter. When looking for a big bite I hook two of them together. Not as many hits, but when they do they're usually larger than avg.
