    Branford shake down solo fishing

Having no work this morning, I thought I would take out the newly restored 74 Proline out to try out some modifications I made to the live well and steering/motor trim tab.
I was able to find the bunker and headed to the beacon.
fishing was slow and I hopped around and wasn't able to find any bass but got two bigger blues for the smoker.
Headed out to the fluke grounds and got many big sea robins,One nice Sea Bass, one Porgy and 6 fluke with three being keepers to 20".
Very hot out, but much cooler out there than inland.

Awesome! I grew up a hundred yards from the ocean but never learned to fish. Makes me sad now thinking about all the tasty dinners that were swimming around out there lol.
