    Farmington River - Hendricksons :)

The Hendrickson hatch is in full swing and water levels are back to 300 cfs through the TMA section.

I did well last evening swinging a couple of soft hackles sub surface. Wicked simple tie and killer up high or down deep:

    Hook: 12-16 nymph
    Body: Dubbed Hares ear
    Rib: Fine copper wire
    Hackle: Two turns of partridge.

Last night they were all over the size 14. There were a lot of duns on the surface but didn't see too many getting eaten. I'm guessing surface feeders were grabbing the emergers. I'll be adding a z-lon 'shuck' to the fly for my next outing.

No sign of spinners on the water or in the air but sometime this week its going to go crazy - maybe tonight

Thanks for the report. Haven't made it out to the farmy yet this year. Guess I better get moving!
