How does a bill become law in CT

I couldn't resist from linking in the "I'm just a Bill" cartoon clip from School House Rock.

Here is a link to a PDF file that describes the process of a bill becoming a law in Connecticut.

OR click on the attachment below.

This is a link to a lot more text which requires much more reading that explains the enactment of a Bill in Connecticut: http://www.cga.ct.gov/hco/eob.htm
    Hope this helps!

Driving and hunting are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible.

They left out the part where if the bill doesn't fit the agenda of the Speaker of the House, or the President ProTempore in the Senate, that it NEVER gets called to the floor for a vote....like the Sunday Hunting Bill!
