Everyone that paid for a permit for the 2010 deer season, don't forget to do your survey. In the comment section put your input about the season and what you do and don't like about it. This is what I put about the zone 4a tag restriction.

Comments: I also hunted in zone 4a. I saw more doe in that zone but was waiting for a buck.I didn't want to burn my only tag on a small doe. I don't see why the state isn't giving us our tag back for that zone.

There is strength in numbers, so every one should voice their opinions...

I also made a comment about zone 4a. I said I live in that zone and believe me there is no shortage of deer in that zone.

I think we have the bad luck of being the "control" in their experiment, and I'm tired of it.

I got a chance to talk with a guy who worked with a Biologist at one of the checking stations he asked the biologist why zone 4a is restricted to one deer per firearm season he said that they can not understand why the deer count is so low in zone 4a and there is going to be no change in the next few years on the deer allotment in zone 4a so in other words suck it up or find a new place to hunt out of zone 4a ............
