They look good but I wouldn't pay that much for them. Plus I have seen things go wrong with mechanical BH's. The other thing I don't care for is the saying "expand your kill zone". The kill zone is the vitals, there is nothing to expand. With saying that I can't believe that I am almost ready to try them, they do look like they work... How many of our bow hunters on this site use them?

not I (I used slick tricks), but that was some amazing footage.

There is a 3 pack in my stocking from santa! I can't wait to try them. I've always been a fan of mechanicals, eventhough I used slick tricks this year.

I have been using Wasp Jackhammers for a long time now without fail, 75 gr or the 100gr they fly really well and they are less expensive then the new rage heads. They have gone through every deer but one wether it was 90lbs or 185lbs. The pic is my best with a bow taken at 43 yards on my 30th birthday, dressed 215 lbs with a gross score of 142+ ". The 2314 with a 100gr Jackhammer went through the heaviest part of the shoulder and through it's heart just to where the point was sticking through the other side. ( this is the only deer I didn't go through). It ran about 90 yards, it had me really nervous because it was the first time I have seen one of my arrows sticking out of a deer.I shot this deer on Sept 27th 2003.

Although they showed impressive kills, did anyone notice that there weren't too many pass-throughs? Most of the animals ran off with the arrow sticking out of it's side. They showed the entry hole on almost all of them, but didn't show an exit wound once. I like a complete pass-through, I'll stick with my muzzy's.
Thats a good point now that you said i looked again and they stay in which is a good thing slice and cut while the deer is running makes for a much larger hole..
