Just found this Forum, I think the EnCon board is awesome. The response time and people there are great. I'm still sort of new to hunting, I've always been around guns especially handguns, but a few years ago My father in-law got me into deer hunting. This forum has answered a few "legal" questions I had just by searching it. So thanks for that :) I've only been able hunt state land here in CT. So far I hunted in Cockaponset (A season), Meshomasic (A season), Natchaug (B season) and have not taken a deer yet altho I've seen a couple of small does. I bought a muzzle loader this year to hopefully increase my chances....I'm gettin' hungry :).

welcome ken. plenty of deer on state land in ct! underhunted from what i've seen. shoot a doe if your hunngry as some wise meat hunter once said, "can't eat the horns" and you sure get plenty of tags here in CT
