I actually want to try hunting spring turkey this year. I have never done it before, so I have some research to do.

I have never hunted turkeys. I really don't plan on doing it this year either but you never know. Money is kind of tight right now so I can't spend anymore for the time being.

I have had success with the 12 ga. but gave the bow a try
last year. The one thing I found out real fast is you need a
blind. There is no way your going to draw on turkeys at 20+
yards with out getting busted.

I usually shoot two with the gun then play around with the bow. If I struggle getting the last one with an arrow, the gun comes back out :icon_cool:.
We really like eating turkey so I don't mess around

Spring and fall turkey seasons both. Always with the bow on private land. If I were to hunt public land I would consider a shotgun.
