Has anybody tried buy ammo recently online? I tried today and the dealer said I needed an FFL after supplying them my pistol permit and DL. Only wanted 200 rounds...

Unfortunately, we now require an FFL for the state of CT. Do you have a copy sir?

Is this new? I've never heard of it but I don't usually buy ammo online. Wasn't on their terms and conditions either. Anyhow does anyone have a spot where they get decent prices on 300 win mag? Looking for Federal 180 grain to sight in a new rifle and scope. Thank you

First I heard of that. It is probably just the vendor. Midway, Brownells, Natchez, and others don't require an FFL. They do require a copy of your permit and driver's license to prove that you can purchase ammo legally and that you are who you say you are.

I buy online all the time, no issues.
Go somewhere else, forget them.
