They call it the R.I.P. round and with good reason. G2 Research has released a new ammo that is taking the market by storm and has gun owners all over the country trying to find where to pick some up.

Odd stuff. I can see the benefits, but I doubt this will cycle properly in most semi-autos, at least not with any consistency. I foresee jam-a-palooza. Devastating round though. Nasty.

Looks like a Dr's worst nightmare. One entry, fragments everywhere.

Damn thing just looks intimidating. Hell of a job on the gelatin, must make a mess when it hits something!

As awesome and effective as this ammo looks, I think people really need to consider the legal vulnerability they have when they use "R.I.P." ammo, especially in CT. I cannot even imagine what the situation for gun owners would be like in this state if there was a self defense shooting and the media found out the ammunition used was marketed as "R.I.P." ammo. To me the name of this ammo really opens up quite a bit of vulnerability to the media and prosecutors to argue the person who fired in defense is some kind of blood thirsty vigilante seeking to do their own justice.

Sadly at this point, in this state, we have remember that the truth does not matter. The only thing that does matter is the garbage spewed out by the media everyday; and they would go nuts with this.

It will be made illegal, everywhere but Texas!

I see feed issues! Honestly this reeks late night infomercial. I'll stick to the golden sabers for my carry ammo.

That would make a hell of a shot gun slug.

I am still waiting to see some good independent testing. So far all i have seen is the manufacturers videos and claims. I know the ammo is very hard to get a hold of though and some guys are trying to sell the $40 boxes for $240 on gunbroker!
