Again, I'm a 'newbie'. What is a 'can'? I'm assuming SBR is a 'short barrel rifle? Why would someone want a SBR? Thanks

Okay, I quickly read up on what a 'gun trust' is. Thanks for the info. So, as an example, I can buy a machine gun and in having a Gun Trust, the Chief of police in my town wouldn't have to sign off on it? And I'd be able to pass on the machine gun to whomever I put in the trust? One thing I did not see in reading about Gun Trusts is background checks. It seems you fill out the simple form, pay the fee and there you have it. Is it really that simple or did I not read enough on it?

aren't these types of weapons already superceded by existing CT state laws? Or is this a leagal way for a CT resident to own a pre-1986 machine gun?

You can get them but if it has full auto.

I actually doubt it... I don't think the anti's are aware of the whole gun trust deal...

I feel like I understand all this but I don't at the same time... Sounds awesome. Little more explanation (I'll do a little more research tomorrow) and I may join in on this.

Could they do an info session for those of us interested with some q+a?

I suppose it is their business, but I am slightly apprehensive about having a dealer set up an NFA trust. But at $250 this is a steal! I'll do it.

Delta has a lawyer draw up all the paperwork. My trust is done through them and so far no hiccups.

Just came across this. Did you end up doing anything with this as a group? I'm interested in getting a trust going for myself and family.
Does anyone know what Delta gets for an individual starting a trust? Feel free to PM me if you are putting something together white devil.
Thanks.

I'm not sure if I'm too late or not, but I'm very interested. I just did a little reading into gun trusts, but I still need to do more research to fully understand it, but I'm very interested and if possible, is like to join. Let me know.
