Guys and girls, I wacked my first ever deer, just so happens to be a 10 pointer!!!! What a buck let me tell you.

This is my first year bowhunting, and my 3rd year hunting in general. For the past two seasons I zeroed with private land shotgun. Decided to extend my season so I picked up the bow. What a thrill!!!!! Anyway, I had this 10point on camera, and on sep 22 at 6:30am he decided to walk broadside at 24 yards. THWACK! 70 yards later, there he is, the big ten I've been looking for, down!

I would love to show the pics but I don't know how to upload them on here. I have them in my email. Anyone care to give me your email so you can post them for me? Or, can you give me a step by step on how to upload them here?

Thanks folks!

I keep that bag in my truck when hunting, it's got everything I need for dressing, plus some clorox wipes, water, etc.

Bow hunting on the ground is a real rush. You have to get everything right in order to fool a big boy like that.

Very well done.

I agree with Bob, getting them on the ground with a bow is the best. Got my first buck on the ground with a bow. Honestly you should be very proud of that deer and you have a nice feather in you cap that you got it off the ground. Buck of a life time, great job! I bet you are hooked on bow hunting now!
