got out of work a little early today so i said hell with it ill go brave the bugs and sit in a stad about 10 min down the road from my house walked in the woods at 330 jumped this doe from underneath my stand walkin in she ran about 40 yards and stopped. dont ask me how but i managed to sneak into my stand with her at about 30 yards headin back towards me (i dont think she ever saw me when i jumped her she just heard me) she was headed right back to where i jumped her form to eat acorns she got to about 10 yards perfectly broad side and put her head down to eat. i drew back let it fly, double lung complete pass through and she ran about 15 yards and fell over...sometimes it happens that fast i honestly wouldnt have shot her if i hadnt been being eaten alive by the blood suckers when i drew back on her probably a hundred of them flew off my bow and they were so bad i drug her out and brought her to a buddy field to dress her because i dont think i would have made it out of there if i would have tryed to dress her there...anyways im happy got two in the freezer now and ill be sittin home till we get some cool weather...

Congratulations on the doe. I went yesterday morning and I am waiting until it cools off a little. This year the mosquitoes are insane I have never seen anything like this.

Just so you know the replacement tag is only good in zones 11 and 12. And if you shoot another doe you can get an additional doe tag.
